TRUMP’S NAVY CHIEF FLUNKS U.S. HISTORY
Top Military Guy Pays “Respects” on Wrong Date
Missed Pearl Harbor by 6 Months!
Duh! U.S. Secretary of the Navy John Phelan — never in the military, but handpicked by Donald Trump — visited the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial to “pay my respects to the service members andcivilians we lost at Pearl Harbor on the fateful day of June 7, 1941.”
One problem: Your great-grandpa remembers that Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, not June 7.
Yo, Johnny! You missed class the day they taught about World War II!
At least the fat-cat got a trip to Hawaii out of it — which you paid for! Congrats!
Here’s what the clueless leader disrespected on your dime: 2,400+ Americans dead, the sunken Arizona a watery tomb for 1,777 souls.
How did Phelan get put in charge of the U.S. Navy? He was a mega-donor to Trump’s campaign. Boasted to his GOP Senate buddies about his boardroom brilliance, not battlefield bravery.
Trump put this stumblebum in charge of nearly a million sailors and Marines! Then Phelan surrounded himself with such a staff of losers, not one of them could read the calendar.
Good, patriotic, pro-military Republicans gotta love it.
