Duh! U.S. Secretary of the Navy John Phelan — never in the military, but handpicked by Donald Trump — visited the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial to “pay my respects to the service members andcivilians we lost at Pearl Harbor on the fateful day of June 7, 1941.”

One problem: Your great-grandpa remembers that Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, not June 7.

Yo, Johnny! You missed class the day they taught about World War II!

How did Phelan get put in charge of the U.S. Navy? He was a mega-donor to Trump’s campaign. Boasted to his GOP Senate buddies about his boardroom brilliance, not battlefield bravery.
